Wow, summer is creeping up on us. Before you know it we’ll be knee deep in activities from our summer bucket list! This lesson planning mom needs to get ready so we can enjoy a relaxing, productive and of course FUN summer break.

I went ahead and made myself 2 goal sheets and 2 summer schedule planners… and of course I had you in mind the entire time.

Summer Goal Sheets for Kids & Parents

The first sheets I made are for writing out our summer goals. I want to make sure I have a clear list of what I want and need to accomplish to make this a relaxing, playful learning summer. Since it’s not just my summer I made one for the kids to fill out too.

Summer Daily Schedule for Kids & Parents

We function best with a routine so I am using this Summer Daily Schedule to map out our flexible routine. Using the Summer Goal Sheets will help make sure that we work on fitting in the important stuff. I will probably go as far as scheduling reading time, work/ play on your own time, outside playtime, and activity time.

Summer Schedule Weekly To do List for Kids & Parents

Since there will be extra adventures added into each week. I will be using this weekly to-do list to divide up my weekly goals throughout the week. This will be a great place to put kid activity ideas, outings and household duties.

What are you doing to prepare for summer?

Fantastic idea, Jillian. With temperatures in the 90’s around here, there’s no denying that summer is right around the corner. Thanks for the reminder that it’s time to start planning!

Thanks for the printable! I always have great ideas, but if I don’t write them down, then I forget them. This will be a great way to keep our summer busy and fun.

If I don’t write down my ideas they take over. I get so worried that I might forget something!
