Self Care for Parents | Because You are so Important!

Self care for parents is one of the most important parenting topics to look at. If you are at your best and nurtured then you are able to care for others.

Self Care for Parents | Because You are so Important!Often times making the decision to take care of yourself is the hardest part.

Here are some tips for putting you first:

  • Think about your little one as an adult. How do you want them to feel about self care? Teach them to care for them-self... by caring for yourself.
  • Pay attention to your patience level and overall interactions with the family AFTER you've done something for you. The results can be very motivating.
  • Find an accountability buddy that will make sure you are making time for you. (I'm sure you can find another parent who needs help with this.)

  • Me Time Activities (even if your too busy)
