Using Art for Storytelling

Little M and I had so much fun using art for storytelling. Drawing has become one of her favorite things to do. I had a blast joining in and expanding the experience a bit. Then I found the best place to share the activity. Have you been over to Inspiration Laboratories? Trisha and I crossed blogging paths quite a while ago. She has a knack for making science simple… and we share a passion for storytelling.

Read about Storytelling through Art then look around. I think you will love Inspiration Laboratories just as much as I do!

PS… Do you love the sweet little ice skater she drew? She learned how to draw it on a fun drawing site for kids, check it out at Art for Kids – How to Draw a Stick Figure Skater.

What a great idea — thanks for the tip! I think I might try something like this to make a Mother’s day present from my daughter for her grandmothers. My daughter will love making it, and I know my mom and mother-in-law will treasure it. 🙂
