CKLC #8: Build a Lego Ornament

It was a nice little break, but I think it’s about time to get the Creative Kids Lego Challenge running again. I asked for you to submit challenge ideas and I am so impressed with the ideas that came rolling in. It will probably take me a month or two to get to everyone, so keep coming back! Shall we get back to building?

CKLC #8 – Build a Lego Ornament

Carlos and his Mom, Marta suggested we build a Lego Ornament that can hang on the Christmas tree. What a fun idea! This one is going to take some very serious creativity, and I am confident you will meet this challenge with no problem. (P.S. If you don’t have a Christmas tree make an ornament that can hang from any tree or from a lamp in your home.)

For the storytelling portion of this challenge I would love to read about this ornament’s past.  Pretend that your ornament is very old. Create a story about how this ornament joined your family. Does it have a special spot on the tree? Has it always been loved?

I look forward to seeing your creations and reading your stories.  Head over, read the rules and submit your entry. Remember any entry submitted by Thursday will be considered for next Saturday’s feature. Don’t worry if you miss it though, the galleries will remain live for everyone to see!

Have a friend who loves Lego as much as you do? Email this post to them and get creative together!
