Little M and I had to compromise to make the Letter Y happen this week.  I had planned on gluing yarn on the Letter Y and she wanted to paint.  We made it an experiment and had a little fun with yarn painting the Letter Y.

what you need:  Letter Y ~ construction paper ~ glue ~ yarn ~ paint

Prep your Letter Y.  Print, cut and glue it to yellow construction paper.  Add a little yellow paint to a pie tin, or paper plate.  Cut a few pieces of yarn.

Stand back and watch.  What will your little one do with the yarn?

Y has a very fun letter sound.  Play around with some Y words while your little one paints.
