Letter F: Five Green and Speckled Frogs
It’s time for the Letter of the Week… and look at me all on time and stuff! I have a perfect way to enjoy some F fun. Have you heard the song Five Green and Speckled Frogs? It’s one of my favorites. In fact I even made it into a flannel story. If you haven’t heard it, gather up the kids and get ready to learn a new song.
Five Green and Speckled Frogs
Five green and speckled frogs sitting on a speckled log
eating the most delicious bugs. Yum, yum.
One jumped into the pool, where it was nice and cool.
Now there are one, two, three, four.
Four green and speckled frogs sitting on a speckled log
eating the most delicious bugs. Yum, yum.
One jumped into the pool, where it was nice and cool.
Now there are one, two, three.
(And so on down to no green and speckled frogs.)
Pair this with Letter F Activity: Gluing Feathers.
We love this song at our house, too!
I wanted to let you know I linked to your blog on mine!

I remember that song from when I was little. Funny I haven’t thought to sing it to my kiddos. Thanks for reminding me.
