Saying Good-Bye to the Lesson Plan Mom

Hello my friend,

It’s been almost 7 years since I started A Mom with a Lesson Plan.

Back then I had a 5 year old and a 3 year old. I was a mom with a lesson plan. I planned out activities and collected books and made pretend play areas that revolved around a certain theme.

I loved it. You loved it…

and then something changed.

The kids got bigger, they went to school. They became less and less excited about my plans and more excited about their teachers plans. (Yay for that!)

Something changed for you and I too though, I started talking more about parenting. I learned that it isn’t just the actual parenting you want to talk about.

Activities are a great way to keep the kids busy, family ideas are wonderful for connecting and parenting tips help move you through issues…

But you also need a reminder that you are already doing a great job. A place to celebrate the wins and get a pat on the back just for trying to begin with.

You are looking for confidence,

because when Confidence Meets Parenting, parenting becomes fun again.

It’s time for me to say good-bye to that lesson planning part of my life and hello to this new exciting adventure.

Hello Confidence Meets Parenting…

I had a couple of goals with the redesign and rebranding of this site. The number one reason for changing things up was to make sure that the look fits the message. I’m pretty sure that has been accomplished. YAY! (and thanks to Pixel Me Designs for making it painless for me.)

The second goal was to make it easier for you to find what you are looking for. I cleaned up a few things behind the scenes and brought Parenting, Self-Care and Family front and center.

Let me point out a couple of things and then I’ll let you go exploring on your own.

  • In the menu bar (just above my goofy family) you’ll find links to connect you to the section you are looking for. You’ll also find Ask Jill (click on it to see what that is all about). At the very end you can see where to sign up for the Confidence Meets Parenting newsletter.
  • On the right side of the page you can read more about me and find links to my social media pages. Below that you will find a search bar to help you if you are looking for a specific topic. And then another spot to connect you to the section you are looking for.
  • There are a few things at the bottom of the page but the most important is the contact me button. That’s where you can find my email address.

Over the next couple of months I’ll be hard at work making it even easier for you find exactly what you need… when you need it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for being a part of this community.

Hugs,
Jill
