Yee-haw!  This book is an exciting twist on the Gingerbread Man.  Instead of farm animals the Gingerbread Cowboy is chased by desert creatures.  It isn’t a sneaky fox that devours this yummy character, so does he get away?  You’ll have to read it to find out!

The Gingerbread PiratesBy Kristin Kladstrup    Illustrated by Matt Tavares

This book is something special.  Instead of a mad chase around town, this cookie simply wants to find his crew.  The story is interesting, and the pictures are captivating.  After reading it I think I might ask Santa for a pirate ship!
