Field Trip To The Bank ~ turning COINS into bills!

Penny is here guest posting here again!  Don’t forget to come back tomorrow to see what else she has to share!

Once we were done (SORTING, COUNTNG, STACKING AND ROLLING) S and T’s coins, it was time for a field trip to the bank.

We put the rolled coins into their little backpacks, so it would be easy for them to carry.

And then we were off to the bank to turn the coins into bills!

With their bills in hand they were ready for our second trip to the zoo!

What did they buy?  Check back tomorrow and you’ll see!

Tips to maximize learning:  1.  Talk about why people go to the bank.  2.  Talk about reasons why people save and/or spend money.
