Parenting Tweens Resources

Parenting Tweens | A Parenting Tweens Resource Guide

At a glance: The parenting tweens resource list that I can’t live without!

One moment she’s hanging on my legs and giggling. I can still see that baby girl, the one who played in the mud in a frilly dress, behind those twinkling eyes.

Then in a split second, she’s storming out of the room. I said something wrong, I did something wrong… or I didn’t say something???

I have no idea (and honestly I don’t think she knows either.)

Mom and Children with Quote from Julie A Ross, M.A.: Think of the tween brain as a single-lane country road turning into a superhighway. End Quote. The parenting tweens resource list that I can’t live without!

A friend of mine (one who has just sent her babies off to college) listened quietly as I vented. I was pleading for answers to why my sweet, patient son was suddenly a totally different person. She smiled sweetly and handed me this book. It’s a game changer!

I bookmarked enough pages to buy my own copy… it’s a game changer!

Some things are just too hard to say out loud. Parenting tweens means offering many easy ways for kids to come to you. These special journals create a different type of safe space for connecting.

These body books are a great way to get the puberty conversation started and definitely deserved a spot on the parenting tweens resource list.

I will add more tween parenting resources as I come across them, so make sure to pin this page!
